Proptech has been a hot topic for a few years now and shows no signs of letting up. Realistically, the proptech revolution is only just beginning!

Over the last few years, there has been an increasing number of technology start-ups entering the proptech market to help solve some of the challenges faced by property developers, investors, agents, and landlords. There are now approximately 8000 companies worldwide and roughly $13bn worth of investment has gone into proptech companies in the last year. The possibility for technology to enhance the property industry by improving efficiency, reducing costs, provide a better customer experience, and enabling more informed decisions is now well recognised by the property industry. Companies and individuals that are successful in harnessing this technology will be at a major competitive advantage.

The UKPA is a trade body which aims to promote engagement between technology companies and property companies, and supports the adoption of technology within the property industry. The UKPA hosts events throughout the year, which includes an annual awards ceremony. The events provide insight into market trends and new technologies, as well as providing opportunity to network in an exciting and burgeoning industry. Additionally, the prize winner will receive exclusive content only available to members.

To be in with a chance of winning this exciting prize, all you have to do is answer the following question:

Identify two challenges (current or future) within the property industry; and explain how you believe technology has begun to, or could, help solve them

Please send your answer to: info@cre-ation.co.uk, titled ‘UK PropTech Competition’.

The deadline for entries is Sunday 4th November, 23:59.

Winner to be announced Thursday 1st November.
